Beginning fencing day CAMP week 6 Jul 29-Aug3 age 8-13 (see camp tab for info, or email us).
Register and pay below. All gear is provided. For sanitary reasons many prefer their own glove which can be purchased from the instructor for $10. We encourage Fencing 2 students to own their own saber: PLEASE DO NOT BUY SABERS FROM EBAY! In our experience these are usually quality control rejects and are very stiff and heavy… ok for adults maybe but the worst choice for kids, who most need light and well balanced sabers. Please ask us for recommendations.
Students should dress in comfortable, athletic clothing. T-shirts, sweat pants or track pants, and court shoes or cross trainers are preferred. Jeans will work if loose, and running shoes are acceptable. We recommend short sleeved shirts for comfort. No shorts, no sandals.
All equipment is provided. A fencing glove is provided to keep as part of the beginning class tuition.
Students under the age of 18 will require a parent or guardian signature on the registration and consent form. We can email a copy. Then, we need a signed USFA form (we pay the $10 fee) Also, please do this county consent form for times when we do programs through the county. Just 3 forms for you to do and us to track… no sweat.
Registration can be done by email as late as the night before the first class, but our kids classes usually fill before then.
